Melissa Gray-Washington is a residential interior designer based in Philadelphia’s historic Chestnut Hill neighborhood.

Rooted in principles of timelessness and quality, Melissa’s approach to design delivers practical and refined interiors unique to each client’s needs.

Before pivoting to interiors, Melissa worked in fashion and graphic design for over 20 years. During that time, Melissa owned and operated a branding & design studio in New York City with a focus on fashion, design and architectural clients. Melissa has also worked in-house at Architectural Record, designing award-winning art & creative for the storied publication.

Current projects include interior renovation and decoration of a historic townhouse in Brooklyn, NY, decoration of a traditional family home in Lower Gwynedd, PA and the preservation and decoration of an all original, early 20th century home in Chestnut Hill, PA.
